How does the timer work?
Snoez plays continuously by default. Tap ‘Set timer’ in the bottom bar and choose 15 or 30 minutes, 1 or 2 hours. The sound fades over the final 30 seconds. Pausing keeps the remaining time. Stopping turns the timer off.
White noise for babies
Keep the volume low, place the device well away from your baby’s head and limit listening time with the timer. Every baby is different; no sound guarantees sleep. Read the American Academy of Pediatrics guidance.
How do I pair two devices?
- On the player, open ‘Play on’ and turn on ‘Use this device as a player’.
- Tap ‘Show pairing code’.
- Open the pairing options on your other device. Scan the QR code or enter the code manually.
- The player accepts automatically while the code is visible and valid. Then control the player from the main screen.
Closing the code, letting it expire or leaving the app stops automatic pairing. Revoke an existing pairing in the device controls.
My player is unavailable
Both devices need internet for remote control. Open Snoez on the player again. iOS can suspend an app in the background when no sound is playing. Commands are never queued for later, so reconnecting will not unexpectedly start playback.
Can I turn the screen off?
Yes. Press the side button to lock your phone while sounds are playing. ‘Dark screen’ shows a black screen and allows normal automatic locking. Snoez cannot lock the phone itself.
Why is there a Keekaboo card?
Snoez is free. One permanent card introduces our family album app. It never interrupts your sounds and is hidden in dark screen mode.
